Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Having combination skin can be a hassle. Finding the right cleanser is darn nearly impossible. They would either dry out your skin and leave it all red, or be too moisturizing and leave a film on top which would look like an oil slick a few hours into the day. Well, ladies, fear not for I have found a solution!!
Origins Checks and Balances frothy face wash.

Designed for combination skin, this creamy face wash provides the right amount of cleansing properties to suit both areas of concern of your skin. This is the description provided from their site:

"When it comes to faces with dry and oily places, it takes a clever cleanser to balance the two. This gentle, frothy face wash carefully does both jobs without canceling each other out. Broad Leaf Kelp Extract discourages excess oil production, while Wheat Protein balances and protects dry prone zones. And Tourmaline actually makes water wetter to more easily disperse dirt and sebum down the drain. There's also aromatic Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender to add pleasure to the process. Skin feels comfortably refreshed after cleansing, never tight, pulled or parched."

This creamy cleanser left my face squeaky clean without feeling tight or irritated. Best part is that it seems to help control my oily nose! It retails at $21 and is available at Sephora and their site OriginsYou may think it's a little pricey for a face wash but I assure you that it will last you for long while. A little bit goes a long way, and I mean loooong way! I take a pea size amount and mix it with water (duh!) and it makes a frothy foamy wash that covers your entire face and neck. I love it!!

I might have to try more things from this brand. I like that it uses natural ingredients AND it works. Well, check it out if you're like me and have combination skin in need of a good face wash! Though I think that all skin types can use this one.

XOXO Sally

Skincare Wonders: Winter Edition!

The holidays are here and with it, cooler weather. As the climate changes, so does my skincare routine. You guys know I like to try out different skincare products, after all, I AM a skincare junkie above all else.  But recently, I've been combining some products that have transformed the way my skin looks and feels! I am in love. Mainly its my nighttime skincare routine that has received a bit of a makeover. And here, I will ramble on a bit about them and how I use them to get the most out of them.

First, I wash my face with my Clinique Liquid soap and then I use the Clinique clarifying toner #2 with an exfoliating cotton pad to make sure my skin is squeaky clean.

Then comes my trusty Clinique Turnaround concentrate radiance renewer. I've been mixing one pump of this with 3-4 drops of Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil. I have a deluxe sample size that a friend (Thanks Jumy!) gave me because she has oily skin and didn't find she could get much use of it. I know many of you have heard of beauty oils. I also know very few have actually ventured with them. They are quite intimidating, I mean, oil? FOR YOUR FACE?? I know, I know. But trust me, this one is AMAZING!! I have combination skin. I say this because my cheeks and under eye area can be dryish to normal. My nose is annoyingly oily though. (Tell me I'm not alone please??) So even though I apply it to my entire face, I only use it at night  and HOT DAMN! Such a difference! Mixing the oil with the serum sort of thins it out and makes it heavenly to apply. Skin is left so soft and glowy! And it also makes it absorb very fast. The Tsubaki  beauty oil is a an anti aging blend of oils harvested from Japan that restores skin leaving it glowing and healthy.  When my sample runs out, I plan on purchasing it full size ASAP. But I have a feeling it will last for a while. A little goes a looooong way. I admit, I was skeptical at first. But I am now a believer.

I let the mix absorb on my face, which only takes a few seconds. (Yay!) Then I top it all off with Clinique Moisture Surge Extender relief gel moisturizer. I find that this moisturizer is perfect for me because its a gel formula that provides long lasting hydration, so both my dry areas and oilier areas get the hydration they need. Summer or winter, this works great.

The perfect thing about this regimen is that the clinique products I use are oil-free, so I'm not overloading my face with oils. The Tsubaki oil is the only one here. I also get the benefits I want: anti aging, radiance and hydration. It's just perfect!!

Forever Repurchased: Skincare

I don't know if you've noticed, but I love trying out new products. I just can't resist when a new product comes out full of promises in a pretty packaging. So with my experiences I have gathered some intel on what products work, which you should splurge on and which are those that you should save your money. And you know what? I am such a nice person that I am going to share some of my discoveries.  Yup! You heard right. In this post I am going to talk about products that I will keep repurchasing as long as they continue to make it.

Are you ready? 'Cause I am about to drop some serious knowledge.

Lancome Bright Expert

I seriously can not imagine my life without this serum. In just a matter of days, blemish scars just vanished and it gives my skin such a healthy glow. It also has some moisturizing properties which I appreciate on hot summer days when I just don't want to layer a cream on top of my skin. It leaves skin so soft and has SPF! What I do is that on humid or hot days I put this on my skin first after cleansing. Then I use a bb cream, tinted moisturizer or my MAC primer+powder combo and I'm good to go! This one is great under makeup because skin drinks it up, making it soft and supple and just ready for your makeup application. It doesn't build up or make me break out. Perfection!!

On normal days, however, my skin tends to be dry (with an oily nose. I know. WTF) so I need to layer a lightweight moisturizer anyway. All in all, I will continue to purchase this. I love it!!

Clinique turnaround concentrate Radiance renewer

This does what the Lancome Bright Expert does except it can't be layered under makeup. Yes, I am obsessed with skin brightening products. If is promises brightening, radiance, glow, etc, I will most likely buy it. I use it when I'm lounging around in my house, but mostly before I go to bed. It's super gentle, moisturizing and best of all, I wake up the next morning with brighter more even toned skin!! I can use it on its own but also, I use it under a moisturizer when I need extra hydration. I fell in love with this and it has a spot in my collection forever as well.

Lancome High Resolution refill 3x anti-wrinkle cream

Holy Jesus Christ! I LOVE THIS!! Words can not describe the wonder of this moisturizer. It wears magnificent under makeup and just provides the most perfect hydration for any skin type! The best part? It has anti-wrinkle agents AND SPF!! It may be pricey, but it's worth every penny! Not to mention it will last you a year. Not kidding. A little goes a long way and the jar is pretty generous. I love how skin feels right after I use this. Especially when I wear my MAC studio finish powder foundation. It's perfection in a jar.

Neutrogena Fresh foaming cleanser

Seriously? The best makeup dissolving cleanser out there. I have tried luxury brand makeup removers and this one works just as well for a fraction of the cost. It doesn't dry out my skin and it makes it feel fresh. I always go back to this one when I stray away to try other brands. The great thing about this one is that it's super accessible! You can find it in any drugstore and even supermarkets! Epic win!!

Neutrogena Makeup remover cleansing towelettes

Yet another easily accessible product from Neutrogena. These towelettes are perfect for removing eye makeup without irritating your eyes. I am a contact lens wearer and I approve! It removes even waterproof makeup so easily it's borderline ridiculous.  You can also use it to remove makeup from your entire face when you're too lazy to do a cleansing routine after a night of partying. Don't spend your money on anything else for removing your eye makeup or overall makeup. This is the ultimate one. No joke.

Proactiv Refining Mask

The active ingredient in this mask is sulfur. Let me tell you something. This makes blemishes almost disappear overnight. Even though I rarely get acne, I have to have a bottle around just in case. It's the only thing I trust to work. Fo' shizzle.

Aaaaand that's about it when it comes to skincare. As I stated before, I am always using new products but these are the ones I will always have in stock that I know I love and works for me. Next I will post up a Forever Repurchased: Makeup. That'll be interesting... ;)

Urban Decay Makeup! A review

I know, I know. It's been a long time since I posted something new. But I have a great excuse, I swear. No really. I spent my summer vacation working and doing a hospital rotation practice so that I didn't have to do it over the semester. And also, I've been testing out tons of new products! I can't wait to share my thoughts! See? If that's not a great excuse, I don't know what is.

Ok, ok. Enough of that. I finally got off my lazy butt and made this post. And it's all about Urban Decay Makeup. Especially their Naked line. O.M.G. I don't want to get ahead of myself, so I'm just going to start product by product (the ones I have anyway) and tell you how I use it and what I think of them. (It may be several steps. Keep in mind I only use this on occasions so it's not an everyday thing. My everyday makeup routine, like for school or something, is more simple)

First product I use: Urban Decay Vitamin-infused Complexion Prep Spray

This spray has a stabilized form of vitamin b6 amongst other antioxidants that soothe and hydrate the skin. It helps control oil and preps your skin for makeup or treatment application. I love how refreshing it is and I can see an immediate difference on my skin. On most days I can even skip moisturizer when I use this. Mainly I skip moisturizer when I plan to use liquid foundation because I don't like to layer too much stuff on my skin. I love this stuff.

Primer: Now I can't speak for Urban decay's bb cream used as a primer (I plan to try it soon though) but I've heard it works great. However, as a primer I've been using lately Benefit's The POREfessional primer. I know, it's not an Urban Decay product but it's soooo addicting!

This primer is tinted, which is great because it won't give off a white cast on flash photography. It basically vanishes the appearance of pores, and smoothes out the skin making makeup application a breeze. Foundation glides on and looks perfect effortlessly. Plus it smells divine! It has a fruity smell I can't get enough of. I'm totally obsessed with this.

Next step? Drum roll please...
Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup (that's a mouthful! lol)

Now I don't know if I've said this before, but personally I'm not a fan of liquid foundations. They're usually heavy and look fake. I had tried many before, but couldn't fall in love with anyone in particular. Until this one. It is so lightweight, it's unbelievable. The finish looks like your skin, not too matte, not too shiny. Just perfect!  The coverage is buildable, which means that those that need extra coverage can add another layer or two to acheive the look they want. I'm fine with one thin layer. It's just enough to achieve an airbrush natural look! And there are so many shades to pick from, I bet anyone can find a match. I apply this foundation with the original Beauty Blender. Perfection!!
What I truly love about this foundation is the fact that it's not JUST foundation. It is infused with peptides that help prevent wrinkles and antioxidants to protect the skin. I love products that multitask!!

Now to set the foundation...
Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder

Urban Decay - Naked Skin Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder
First, I love the packaging of this product. I'm a sucker for cool packaging. Not proud. Anywho, I use this with MAC's 134 large powder brush. This is such a light powder that over application seems impossible. I love that it sets the foundation without caking, looking too heavy or taking away the natural look the foundation has on its own. I use a light hand for this and it's very soft! It's great for setting bb creams as well.

Next up is Urban Decay Naked Flushed!
It's a bronzer, highlighter and blush in one convenient travel-ready compact. I adore this. I really do. It's flattering and so convenient!!

It's a long lasting trio and I just love how it looks on my skin. I think it's a universally flattering shade that anyone can pull off. Great for contouring, highlighting and achieving a perfectly blushed look. Definitely try this!!

Next up! Eyes!!
I prep my eyes for eyeshadow application with Urban Decay Primer Potion Tube. It has a similar consistency as Benefit's The Porefessional primer. It makes eyeshadows last longer and look as if you just applied it all night long. Seriously. This has a cult following for a reason. It's a great basic eye primer everyone should keep handy.
After I prep my eyes with the primer I use either the Naked Basics palette or the Naked palette. Urban Decay - Naked Basics Palette
This palette comes with 6 neutral shades that can achieve any basic eyelook and more. 5/6 of the colors are matte. One is shimmery and it is perfect for use as a highlighter. I also love the packaging on this one. It's so travel-friendly!!
Urban Decay - Naked Palette
This palette comes with a deluxe sample of the eye primer potion and a basic eyeshadow brush. The shades here are beautiful and can complement anyone's skintone. You can't go wrong with this palette. This one is also travel friendly, but not as much as the Naked Basics.

I finish the eye look with some liquid eyeliner and mascara (neither one is from UD).

For the finishing touch I like to apply a setting spray on my face. I use Urban Decay De-slick Oil Control Makeup setting spray. Weirdly enough, I have an oily nose and this spray keeps it at bay by controlling the shine. It also sets my makeup to make sure I don't need to touch up through the night. Love love love!!

And there it is. As you can see, I am totally in live with Urban Decay. The shades they offer have just the right undertones to suit my skintone and everything just applies so flawlessly. Can you say "obsessed"?!

My verdict? If you are in your 20's and early 30's try this line. I guarantee you'll fall in love just as I have.

Skincare 101

With so many options out there, choosing the right skincare products can be overwhelming. I am addicted to skincare. I admit to spending too much time researching and trying out products. And if those products can double up as beauty products (ie. makeup) you can rest assure I will be all over that. These days, with pollution, weather and sun rays menacing not just our skin today, but our future skin as well (can you say "early aging"? *Gasp*), we can fall into a spiraling depression trying to figure out what we need to get our skin to its most radiant, luminous, blemish free perfect self. Ok, maybe I'm being a bit too OCD there, but you know what I mean.

Some of us need more help than others. And it turns out, there are a million ways in which your skin can have something wrong. So we freak out. But no need; first, we should embrace what we have, imperfections and all. Second, address what bothers you most and read on to find out how to begin your skincare regimen.

I'll try to make this post as simple as possible because I want people new to this to NOT be overwhelmed.

Points to remember:

1. How your skin looks like is a reflection of what you put in your body. This isn't strictly about weight. I know a few girls who go to the gym and are as fit as a fiddle but have less than perfect skin. MUCH less. It's just that their eating pattern is not so great. So remember to eat right (fruits and veggies) and most importantly, drink up some water!

2. Sometimes genetics trolls us all. Nature can be a bitch sometimes. Some of us, no matter how much we take care of our eye area, we will have dark circles *cough cough* me *cough cough*. Others may not be fan of their freckles, or a birthmark, or their eyebrows. Heck, don't get me started on skin color. Pale people want tans, dark people want to lighten. No one is happy. Weird right? BUT, we were born this way (I know you started singing "Born this way" right about now. Don't deny it).

3. Your environment has a big role on how your skin looks. You see, humidity, dryness, temperature, air conditioning, sun exposure, etc can all have very different effects on your skin. For example, I went to Las Vegas recently and the dryness of the dessert dehydrated my skin. I literally had to use products specifically for dry skin because it was THAT obvious. But normally, I have normal to combination skin.

4. Before touching your face, wash your hands. It's no use slathering on creams, lotions, serums, and whatever with grimy hands. Wash them first. Remember that.

5. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER sleep with makeup on. It's gross. It's disgusting. It's bad for your skin. So don't be lazy, damn it. I don't care how drunk or tired you are. Take off your damn makeup before sleeping.

Now finally, steps for proper skin care:

Step 1: Cleanser

Finding a good cleanser for your skin is essential. It preps your skin for the next steps and it is supposed to get rid of all the dirt, debris, and pore clogging oils. Depending on your skin type, you may need different cleansers from time to time. These work great on all skin types:

This one is super great at removing makeup! Even eye makeup. And it's super accessible since you can find it at any drugstore

There's the liquid soap and the bar. Both work great and leave skin fresh and clean! It's great for sensitive skin.

Smells great! Cleanses very well and hydrates your skin at the same time. For super oily skin, there is a gel version of this cleanser.

This one is my current favorite. The little beads gently exfoliate and it has ingredients to brighten the skin. The gel texture makes it very fresh!!

For acne prone skin. Can be used on days when there's occasional breakouts until it clears up.

Step 2: Exfoliate or Tone. Or both!!

While I recommend toning just once a week (it can be very drying!), everyone should exfoliate once daily. Twice max.

Toning:  After cleansing, apply toner on a cotton ball or pad and gently swap all over your face. Toners   are liquids that penetrate deep into pores. Even after cleansing your face, you can still see dirt and grime on the cotton ball after toning. Dead skin, oils and makeup can hide in your pores, making them big and dulling your skin. Not to mention it can make you break out. Toning once weekly will prevent this. If you choose to exfoliate as well, make sure you use an uber gentle one. Like Face Soap Clarity mentioned in the cleansers. Or Aveeno brightening scrubs.

From Lancome. It is very effective and can double up as an exfoliator when used on an cotton pad.

1. Dry skin 2. Dry combo 3. Oily combo 4. Oily skin
I've used #2 recently and it leaves a refreshing tingly sensation after it is used.

Exfoliating: It's important to exfoliate to get rid of dead skin cells and toxins that accumulate during the day. These are the prime culprits for not so radiant skin. There are several types of exfoliators and depending on your skin's sensitivity, your needs may range between rough or soft. I'm just gonna list my favorite ones that are great for every skin type.

I mention this one once again because it has soft beads that gently exfoliates. Vitamin C helps brighten up the skin

This comes out as a cream but it has srubbing beads that exfoliate your skin leaving it fresh and tingly.

This is just an awesome overall scrub. It provides resurfacing benefits. Great for a healthy glow!

It's cheap and it works. Need I say more?

Step 3: Treat

Whether its acne, dullness, dark spots, wrinkles, sun damage, pores, or whatever else you can think of, NOW is the time to treat it. Your skin is cleansed and resurfaced from steps 1 and 2. Now whatever you put on will be absorbed better thus enhancing your treatment's benefits. You can layer treatments if you have more than one skin concern. Just be sure to apply the thinnest first, then the thickest. Like serums first. Wait until it is absorbed and then apply lotions, then creams, etc. Also, now it's a pretty good time to apply a generous amount of eye cream!
Diminishes fine lines around the eye.

Lightens dark circles slightly. Diminishes fine lines.

Hydrates the skin on the delicate eye area. Great for use under concealer.

Reduces puffiness on the eyes thanks to the metal tip applicator and reduces dark circles.

Prevents and treat wrinkles and fine lines. Can be used under makeup.

From Philosophy. Gentle acne treatment but effective.

A serum that speeds cell regeneration for radiant glowing skin! Love it!

Great for preventing/treating wrinkles. This serum makes skin look young and stress free! Expensive but powerful.

The best acne treatment in my opinion. Use this at night and the next day, poof! No more blemishes! It's a mask but can double as a spot treatment.

Lightens dark spots and brightens skin. Can be used under makeup!!
Another one from lancome that can be used under make up as well. It perfects your skin, minimizing pores and correcting dullness.

Another pore refiner. Great when skin is sensitive, and very very effective!

Step 4. Moisturize!!

Hydrating your skin keeps it healthy and strong to fight toxins and damage that results from everyday life. There are many moisturizers that also have other benefiting ingredients like antiaging properties. Even if you're young and have no problems with aging, if you want to keep your skin looking like that for the longest time possible, you have to start protecting before the damage is too much. It's best to prevent than to treat.

When choosing a moisturizer, I have 3 simple rules:

1. Oily skin? Choose a moisturizer in gel form. It is less rich so it won't clog your pores but still delivers the hydration you need.

2. Dry skin? Choose creams. Dry skin can look older at a younger age if its not hydrated properly. Cream formulas are rich enough to keep skin from flaking.

3. Normal/ combo skin? You're in luck. You can basically use whatever formula your little heart desires. However, I recommend gel in warmer months, creams in cool/dry/winter months or lotions year long.

Great basic moisturizer. Offers no other benefits. Also available in gel formula for oily skin!

Has SPF 35 so it is great for using during daytime. Wears great under makeup. Antiaging benefits as well

Great moisturizer for normal to oily skin. Has SPF 30 for daytime use. There is also a formula without SPF which could be used at night or of you plan to stay indoors. Highly loved by many.

Awesome for every skin type! It has anti aging benefits and also brightens the skin.

Andddd you're done! Now these are just a few things to help you get started. There are sets available that can make your life easier if you don't want to shop for individual products. Clinique, Philosophy, Proactiv, and Ole Henriksen all have skin care sets that can help you get started if you're not sure what to use for your skin. Lancome also has some sets, but they can be pricey and aren't complete.

Good luck and stay beautiful!

Moroccan Oil Hair Products!

So as I have blogged before, I have been hunting for hair products - mainly hair treatments - ever since my favorite hair treatment mask from Fekkai had been discontinued. I did a post on some products that I found that were helpful, but that can not compare with the products I just tried out fairly recently.

And these products are... (drumroll)

                                                       MoroccanOil hair products!!!

Now I had heard of this brand before, but I didn't pay any attention to it since I had my trusty Fekkai hair mask to keep me company. But since oils these days are all the rage in beauty, I decided I needed to find out more. (Including oils for the face and body, but that's a post for another day) ANYWHO, I tried out this line at a salon since I didn't want to buy the whole product/s without knowing if I actually liked it.

Well I did. A lot. Mainly the hair treatment mask and the treatment oil. The shampoo and conditioner I can live without and I think anyone can. Just stick to good ol' drugstore shampoos and conditioners, ladies. Your wallets will thank you. Not to mention it is unnecessary as long as you have a good weekly deep conditioning treatment/mask to keep your hair's health in check. But this is a total personal choice. If you feel you need it and don't mind spending the extra cash, then by all means go ahead.

The products I fell in love with and purchased are:
Treatment Oil and weekly repairing mask

These two are the ones I'm loving and so is my hair. I'm soooo glad I found these. What I do is that I take 1 tbsp of the mask and mix it with a few drops of the oil. I leave it on my hair for 10 minutes and then wash it off. I follow it with my favorite conditioner to seal in the treatment. My hair has never been so shinny and strong! Even my sister noticed a great change in my hair, and she sees me everyday. I have no frizz when my hair air dries so I don't have to use heat tools if I don't want to. Oh, by the way, I use this once a week only. The instructions say that once hair is healthy, you can use it less frequently.  ^_^

So do I recommend this? Hell yeah. It's pricey and a little hard to come by, but totally worth it in my opinion.

Smashbox bb cream review

I had the pleasure of receiving a deluxe sample of Smashbox's bb cream from Sephora.

Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream

Available at Sephora full size for $39.00

This is the description on Sephora's website:

What it is:
A five-in-one formula for achieving flawless skin on camera and beyond.

What it is formulated to do:
- Oil-controlling formulation with emollients and optical pearl pigments to provide hydration and visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles after only four weeks
- Features SPF 35 sun protection
- Comes in five shades

This multitasking tinted cream formula with SPF 35 moisturizes, primes, perfects, controls oil, and protects for flawless skin on set and beyond. Formulated with emollients and optical pearl pigments, this BB Cream gives skin a glowing, ethereal look and provides a hydrating veil for the complexion to maintain moisture on the surface of the skin.

What I say:

Shade:
First, color match-wise I think it runs a shade darker. It's very noticeable once it oxidizes. (When liquid makeup oxidizes - when exposed to air- it usually turns darker). The shade I got was Light/Medium. Usually, those kinds of shades would suit me. But in this case, it only suits me when I'm tanned. Perhaps the next shade up will suit me (light) year round. This may be a problem for very fair skinned people.

There are 5 shades to choose from:
Fair
Light
Light/Medium
Medium
Dark

Finish:
The finish is satiny matte. Very flattering and looks great on photos (hence the "camera ready" part of the name). It'd be great for those hot summer days when your skin is oilier than usual. Only, you have to be careful upon application. You can't apply too much because this bb cream is a bit on the heavy side. Other than that, I think normal, combination, and oily skin types can benefit from using this bb cream. I wouldn't recommend on dry skin as it may seep into fine lines and look very dry when in oxidizes. Make sure to moisturize beforehand if you plan on using it if you have dry skin.

Coverage:
This is a bb cream. So keep in mind it will in no way be as covering as a full foundation. However, amongst the bb creams I've tried, this one has very good coverage. And I mean very good! While I don't have a lot of blemishes, those that I did have were basically erased. And it looks very natural, as long as you don't go overboard with application. ;)

Lasting ability:
I'd say its long lasting. I didn't use any powder to set it and it lasted me for a solid 6+ hours. I only used blotting paper on my nose once, but that was it.The finish stayed true. Matte and all. One night, I used it over Smashbox's Photo Finish primer (original) and it stayed on allll night. Through drinking and dancing. But mostly drinking. :P

Travel size primer available at Sephora for $15.00

Overall:
I think this is a great bb cream for all kinds of skin types. Which is really rare. While I reach more for my Bobbi Brown bb cream because none has matched me quite as well as hers, I'd be lying to you if I said it was better than Smashbox. I think that if I'd found a great color match I would use this one more. Especially since summer is basically upon us, and I have found that Bobbi Brown bb cream makes me oily sooner. I haven't used it recently because of this.

Anyway, check out this bb cream. Your camera, facebook and face will thank you for it.

Random Post!!! The Legend of Zelda Hyrule Historia! :3

I wanna let loose my nerdy self in this post. As contradictory as it may seem (me being addicted to what most people think is an airhead addiction... makeup I mean, silly rabbits), I am a fan of The Legend of Zelda videogame series and have been since I could hold the SNES controller in my chubby little hands. (WARNING: this is a picture heavy post)

Me wearing Link's hat. LOL
My first Zelda videogame was LOZ: A Link to the Past. I freaking loved it!! The music, the dungeons, the puzzles, the people, the treasures, the plot, the history, in the end...  the land of Hyrule!! It was a great game. I still have it along with the SNES and the other games I had for the console. In working condition might I add ;). Haha.

After I got addicted, I went on to own the masterpiece that was Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time Master Quest, The Windwaker, Link's Awakening (well, I don't own this one, but I played and passed it), Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. Sadly, I have yet to own Phantom Hourglass, a few minor side games and both Oracles. But I will... mark my words. Bwahahaha!

Anywho, my point in telling you all this is just to lead up to my most recent Zelda related purchase: The Hyrule Historia book marking LOZ's 25th anniversary! I got it at Barnes and Noble for $20.00!! And it's sooo beautiful!

The book has illustrations and descriptions about our favorite characters, places, and most importantly, it finally and officially illustrates the timeline!!

The official timeline
A little piece of what's inside!

The Evil Ganon throughout the years.

My Ocarina! Instagram-fied

The comic at the end of the book!
Now as a Zelda fan, this book is part of my most precious possessions, along with my working Ocarina of Time!! That's right, I have an ocarina and I can play it too. (Please try to contain your jelliness, people) Lol.

---------------------------------------->

At the end of the book, there is a special comic (manga) of the LOZ Skyward Sword's beginning. It will blow your puny minds.

My nephew's birthday cake! ^_^
For no reason, I will show you pics of the birthday I organized for my nephew who is starting to become a Zelda fan! (No, of course I didn't organize this birthday to make up for the zelda themed birthday party I never had! Never!!)
Birthday goodies!
